Probably the biggest reason it remained off the list was it didnвЂ™t really capture what I love so much about the Zombie genre, the twisted mirror that these can reflect onto humanityвЂ™s base desire to be ***** to one another just to get Twinkies or a shopping mall all to yourself. IвЂ™ve occasionally glanced from afar but in all honesty I wasnвЂ™t that enticed, sure there are all the great looking miniвЂ™s I mean this box contains more plastic than Cher and it obviously had something going for it the KickstarterвЂ™s have made enough to fund an actual Underground Volcano Lair but something just didnвЂ™t light my fire. IвЂ™ve long avoided Zombicide, the price has been one factor it runs into the serious gamerвЂ™s budget area making attaining a copy a special treat and less an impulse buy. Many challenges await them, but they have new tools of the trade: riot shields, automatic shotguns, concrete saws and many more toys. Missions featured in the rulebook form a campaign on their own, as survivors battle to turn a zombie-filled prison into a reliable shelter. TheyвЂ™re precious assets to any Zombicide team. These survivors are really designed to act as a team, as their skills really complement each other. Prison Outbreak also contains six new survivors with their Zombivor aspects. This is like a modern dungeon where levers are replaced with switches to open or lock doors, use security rooms and reach secret areas. You have to think fast, foresee the improbable and jump into melee at every turn. Prison tiles display tortuous alleys, small rooms and doors everywhere, filled with berserker zombies immune to ranged weapons. The Prison Outbreak will feature berserker zombies. In fact, Prison Outbreak holds even more material than the core game published in 2012 (now nicknamed Season 1)! Season 2: Prison Outbreak takes the players to an indoor environment with vicious close-ranged fights, Prison Outbreak contains all the needed material for a new player to enter the Zombicide universe, and lots of content, almost all new, for an existing Zombicide player to expand his game experience.
